BIG STACK TOURNAMENT POKER
RULES
1. All gambling is against State Law and strictly prohibited. Please keep all money off the table or field of play.
2. Table seating will take place by random selection of seating cards drawing by players. The player that chooses seat #1 will deal first
3. Do not "SPLASH" the pot. All players must place bets directly in front of their position. When betting is complete, bring all chips to the center of the table.
4. You should announce your intention: FOLD, (put cards in muck) CHECK, CALL, RAISE or RE-RAISE...NO STRING BETS. Verbal declarations are binding.
5. If a player has to leave the table thier chips will remain at the table and the dealer will post blinds for that player. The player will be dealt their hand and if the player is not at the table when it is their turn to act their hand will be mucked. All players must be dealt a hand, even if absent from the table.
6. Unexposed cards (FACE DOWN), if they are let go from the players grasp, as in a fold, and hit the muck, the hand is DEAD. Once released by the player, dead hands cannot be pulled out of the muck, even if it is an error on the players part.
7. The "Big Blind" sets the minimum amount bet for that round. The minimum amount that can be bet is the amount of the "Big Blind" or more. Each betting round is based on the bets of that round, not the round before. After "The Flop", the 1st player to act on that round may bet any amount over the big blind. IN ORDER TO RAISE, YOU MUST BET AT LEAST DOUBLE THE AMOUNT OF THE PRECEDING BET OR MORE.
8. If a card is exposed (FACE UP), on the deal, by the dealer,...the card will be shown to all players and become the first burn card. In the event that 2 cards are exposed or misdelt...all cards will be picked up, reshuffled and re-delt, regardless of the players hands, before play begins.
9. At no time may a Big Blind be missed. When "heads up" final 2 players, the player who had the big blind prior to the heads up, will not get the big blind again. The dealers is ALWAYS the small blind during heads up action.
10. All players are expected to use poker etiquette. We ask that the experienced players at the table to be patient and aid new players. REMEMBER, OFFENSIVE LANGUAGE IS NOT APPROPRIATE AT THE TABLES, PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE OR YOU WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE GAME.
12. Big Stack Tournament Poker reserves the right to restrict or refuse play to any player violating these rules.
